Allow encrypted-files uploads
Although I have seen it on the client, it seems to be disabled. Ideally, a password or key would be created on the client-side, and thus, uploaded files would be encrypted for anyone else.

Allow hotlinking to the files
I think it is important to have access to the files from another website, or simply mailing the link to someone.

By hotlinking do you mean like embedding and serving images?
For sending a link to a file, you can do that now! Not sure what you mean by this, if you could please elaborate.

The new icon view should help with this for now. We are also planning on some more photo gallery features.

FTP access!!
I would use this service and take it seriously if i had a way of uploading a massive amount of files in a queue or all at once. this is why i'd like to see FTP upload privileges added to all Go Aruna accounts (or a similar alternative). I can't keep clicking on all 500,000 of my files one at a time to upload! And the mac destop app doesn't do it either!

A view to know wich files are shared
I must remember witch files are shared or click the "share" to view if the file has a share URL.
It would be useful have a view that shows witch files are shared. And an action to unshare the marked ones.18 votesstarted ·

This is a great idea and we will put it on the development schedule. We can not give an ETA but we will add it.
Update: We have added a Public / Private indicator so you can easily see which are shared from the file list view in the web interface. This should help until we get the “list all shared files” view.

WebDAV support
Much better and useful than FTP and works with any OS (also replaces a desktop app in my opinion).

Ability to set how long my file download link is valid for
for example I might want to only have the file available for 1 day instead of 7 days

Automatic file deletion after a time we've given
If we want to have a file just for a few days we could have an option to automatically delete after a date specified so that the server does not waste space and the user don't have trash in his account.

Download folder as ZIP
It would be great if you could download entire folder as a ZIP since downloading each file some times can be a drag. Thanks in advance

Make a better Windows Mobile app. Perhaps a cab. file rather than java.
The windows mobile app is quite basic and not as good as it looked on the website. Also java applications require a special java program on windows mobile these days and you have to run that program before you run the app. It also has trouble accessing the internet through java. Perhaps if you made a .cab file which can be installed and can join all the other programs I have installed on the start menu rather than having to run the java program first.

With the new windows phone series 7 coming at the end of 2010 on a totally different platform, we have not decided our windows strategy and where to focus development efforts for windows phones.
In the mean time, please report individual bugs for the existing windows version and we can look at improving the existing.
